Google Map

I think for the map we could focus on the accessibility of fresh, local foods here in Kalamazoo.  We could create a map of all of the farmers markets, food markets, and farms that sell produce in our area.  Our pen pal class could do the same and we could compare and contrast the two maps and which area has more access to fresh and local foods.  I am willing to create the map, I just want to run the ideas over with you all.  Please let me know what you think!

    I think this is a great idea. There are a lot so maybe focus on only a few miles radius from kalamazoo?

    YES this is perfect. I'm glad you thought of something because I seriously had no idea where to start with this. So how do you create the map, with Google Maps? Let me know what I can do!

      She put some directions in the description for this week, so I will try to make it today. A different group member has to make the map since you made the Google doc, so I have no problem making the map!

    So is it decided that we will do a map of farmers markets in Kalamazoo? I typed in "Farmers Markets, Kalamazoo, MI" and it brought up a bunch of local farmers markets as well as restaurants like Food Dance that serve farm to table meals, as well as selling local, fresh products. Does that sound like a good map?? Or should we search something different?
