Hi guys!

Do you guys have any thoughts on how we should split up this assignment?

My boyfriend and I recently broke up so I am moving back to Kalamazoo and will be there this weekend to sign the lease on my apartment. So I'll be pretty tied up this weekend but I will still check the blog and keep in contact with you guys. Since this assignment is due next week maybe we can brainstorm ideas this week/weekend and record next week? Let me know what you think!

Hey guys! Hope you're having a good week :) I know these are individual papers but how are you guys doing with them?

Lesson Plan 1

Does anyone have any ideas on what they would like to do their lesson plan on?  I was thinking about doing mine about the health risks of unhealthy eating such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and having children research and make brochures for each one.

I think for the map we could focus on the accessibility of fresh, local foods here in Kalamazoo.  We could create a map of all of the farmers markets, food markets, and farms that sell produce in our area.  Our pen pal class could do the same and we could compare and contrast the two maps and which area has more access to fresh and local foods.  I am willing to create the map, I just want to run the ideas over with you all.  Please let me know what you think!

Virtual Pen Pal Assignment

Hello :)

So I was just looking at our next assignment and wanted to get a head start on it. When you guys look at it let me know how you think we should go about this! My idea is for each of us to type up our ideas for the cultural assignment and then we can combine some ideas or tweak the one we like the best so that we all agree on it. I'm going to start the Google Doc and invite you guys because we have to do this part of the assignment there and invite the professor to see our doc. I'm a little confused about the map thing so if you guys understand it better will you explain it to me? Thanks!
